10/5/12
The day following Solothurn Swiss Cup, I decided on making good use of the sunshine and beautiful Swiss hills on offer. So I packed some extra food in the back pockets and headed up the first climb into the clouds. The ride was certainly one of the most scenic and memorable rides I have completed to date.
Up one of the 30min climbs, in the middle of nowhere, I came across a psychiatric clinic… maybe the air is too thin for the locals?

The cows, with their ringing bells, followed me along one of the hiking trails.

There were some sweet bits of single track I made sure to test out.

The hills in Australia can only be described as “speed humps” compared to the real climbs over here!
The ride ended up being around 3.5hrs, and I would have loved to have done some more but with weary legs from racing the day before, and a World Cup to prepare for, I thought enough was enough.
